چکیده

In recent years, significant findings with respect to the association of gut microbiota and various human diseases have been discovered. The diversity can be explained by a multitude interactions between intrinsic environmental factors that are unique each individual. This uniqueness may explain why some individuals more prone develop cardiovascular diseases. Gut dysbiosis plays role in pathophysiological processes. It postulated health is linked homeostasis gastrointestinal microbiota. We provide an overview diagnostic procedures determine microbiota’s composition, mechanisms effects on development

Changes in the composition and function of the gut microbiota in celiac disease

Evidence is supported the hypothesis that any changes in the composition and function of the gut microbiota play a fundamental role in a number of chronic inflammatory diseases including celiac disease (CD). In the last decade, several culture-independent methods have been developed to identify the components of the human microbiome. The study of microbiota based on nucleic acid analysis found ...

The contributory role of gut microbiota in cardiovascular disease.

Our group recently discovered that certain dietary nutrients possessing a trimethylamine (TMA) moiety, namely choline/phosphatidylcholine and L-carnitine, participate in the development of atherosclerotic heart disease. A meta-organismal pathway was elucidated involving gut microbiota-dependent formation of TMA and host hepatic flavin monooxygenase 3-dependent (FMO3-dependent) formation of TMA-...

Impact of the Gut Microbiota on Vaccine Responses

Non-responsiveness or poor responsiveness to vaccines are challenging issues in vaccine development, and efforts have been made to find out the potential reasons for these conditions. Intestinal microbiome plays a key role in regulating and development of immune system and the composition and diversity of microbiota in different individuals on the one hand, and the imbalance of intestinal micro...

Gut microbiota and liver disease.

Microbes are present in large numbers in each human being, in particularly in the gastrointestinal (GI) tract, and have long been believed to have some beneficial effects for their hosts. Till recently, however, we lacked tools for studying these organisms. Rapid technological advances in recent years have markedly improved our understanding of their role both in health and disease. Recent lite...
